Gregory joined the firm early in 2012, assuming the roles of paralegal, office manager and administrator of You’ve Got A Friend. He brings experience to the firm and greatly strengthens the team. As someone who worked on the Island in the summer while attending college, Gregory wanted to make the Vineyard his home.
A graduate of Temple University, Gregory received a paralegal certification accredited by the American Bar Association from Elms College. Prior to joining the firm, Gregory volunteered at a large Western Massachusetts law firm specializing in environmental litigation and at the HIV/AIDS Law Consortium offering pro bono legal services to low income individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
Gregory plays competitive tennis, is an avid skier, volunteers at the West Tisbury Free Public Library, and is learning to sail and to play the acoustic guitar. He lives with his wife in Edgartown.
Hope assumed the office management of the firm in 2016, enabling Gregory to devote the majority of his time to assisting attorneys with paralegal work. Hope and her husband Brock have lived year-round on the Vineyard since 1993. Involved for many years with Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard, Hope served as Administrative Director of Sail Martha’s Vineyard from 2000 to 2016 where her husband continues to serve as Director. The Callens live in Chilmark and are the parents of three children and the grandparents of five.
